🔼 Mississippi State fell 17-7 to No. 12 Ole Miss in the Egg Bowl on a chilly Thanksgiving night in Starkville. The Bulldogs put forth a fantastic defensive performance, limiting Ole Miss to just 307 yards of offense, but it wasn't enough to fend them off.

With a 3-0 deficit coming out of halftime, the Bulldogs returned determined to respond. Will Rogers led the offense 71 yards down the field on State's first possession of the third quarter—finishing the drive with a rushing touchdown to put State ahead 7-3. However, Ole Miss answered with two touchdowns on back-to-back drives to pull ahead for good.

Rogers completed 25-of-39 passes for 207 yards and scored one rushing touchdown against Ole Miss. Zavion Thomas led the Bulldogs in the receiving category with 88 yards on six receptions.

Nathaniel Watson and Jett Johnson led the Bulldogs' defense with a combined 33 tackles in the contest. Corey Ellington followed behind the dynamic duo with 12 tackles and one sack.

🔼 Fresh off a Hall of Fame Tipoff Tournament title, newly-minted No. 25 Mississippi State men's basketball returns home for an early afternoon Black Friday matinee with Nicholls at Humphrey Coliseum. The Bulldogs knocked off Washington State (76-64) and Northwestern (66-57) to collect their second and third non-conference victories over Power 6 opponents (ACC, BIG EAST, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12). The Maroon and White claimed their second multi-team tournament title in as many seasons under Coach Jans.

🔼 No. 25/RV Mississippi State women's basketball travels to the Lone Star State to compete at the 2023 Van Chancellor Classic at the Merrell Center in Katy, Texas this weekend. The Bulldogs' side of the tournament bracket, which will feature round robin action with Clemson, Arkansas Pine-Bluff and Tulsa, is named after Mississippi State graduate and hall of fame coach Van Chancellor.
