🔼 Back Again. We’re back! The Bulldogs will return to the Barstool Sports Invitational to defend their tournament crown from a year ago in the team’s season opening showcase on November 8th. Also in attendance will be Final Four participant Florida Atlantic, Loyola Chicago, and State’s first opponent of the season, Arizona State.
State’s non-conference schedule also includes matchups against with 2023 NIT Champion North Texas, Tulane, Murray State, Georgia Tech, and many others.
🔼 There’s No ‘I’ In Team. Bulldog football has developed a team mindset, and that includes the mindset of tight end Ryland Goede. Goede did not log any stats that would show up on the stat sheet, but he was incredibly excited about establishing the line of scrimmage in the run game - leading to 298 rushing yards.

🔼 Fast Start. The Opener marked the start to Bulldog cross country’s season, and in their 2023 debut, the team finished second place. Four freshman made an immediate impact as their times counted to the team’s score including Ramat Jimoh, Gabrielle Boulay, Madelyn Keating, and Brooklyn Quanz. Jimoh finished in second place with a time of 18:22.09 while the trio behind her all nabbed top-20 finishes for their collegiate debuts.
