🔼 Deal Done. Former Bulldog men’s basketball player and a program top 15 scorer with 1,492 career points has inked a deal to join the Indiana Pacers. Craig Sword has played five seasons in the NBA G League and made his NBA debut with the Washington Wizards during the 2020-21 season. Now after being picked up in free agency by the Pacers, Sword will look to make an impact in Indianapolis.

🔼 Lights, Camera, Action. This season, Bulldog women’s basketball fans won’t have to worry about missing action as the team will be featured on national television nine times throughout the 2023-24 season.

Eight of the nine TV games will be against SEC opponents with their lone non-conference game being versus Miami in the ACC/SEC Challenge. The Bulldogs will be live on ESPN for at least two games, with a potential for a third ESPN matchup against Ole Miss.

🔼 Lock Down Dawgs. During Week 3 of NFL action, some former State defenders got an opportunity to shine on the biggest stages.

The Chiefs’ Chris Jones notched a sack for the second straight week, and his teammate Willie Gay Jr. recovered a fumble in a winning effort. Martin Emerson and Emmanuel Forbes each finished the game with a TFL for their teams while Fletcher Cox recorded half a sack in his Monday Night Football win.
