Good morning! The stage is set for the ACC/SEC Challenge as dates and times have been made official. The Bulldog men’s team will face off against Georgia Tech at 6:00pm CT on Nov. 28 while the women will tip off against Miami on Nov. 29 at 6:15pm CT.

🔼 Getting Low. The No. 21 ranked Bulldog men’s golf team got off to a fast start at the SEC Match Play thanks to a first round 275, its second-lowest opening round in program history. Hunter Logan was the Bulldogs’ low man of the day after 36-holes of play at 7-under par, currently tied for eighth, and Garrett Endicott wasn’t too far behind with a 6-under par performance. The Bulldogs, heading into Round Three, sit in seventh place overall and will look to battle their way up the scoreboard.

🔼 Dear Ol’ State. The Bulldogs came up short on Saturday in South Carolina, but in the process showed a lot to like and build on. In the latest episode, Joel and Logan talk about what stood out for State, then the crew turns the page to Alabama week.

🔼 Enjoy the Show. State fans, and many other college football fans, are starting to notice that with the ball in Tulu Griffin’s hands, big plays are bound to happen. Saturday’s big performance saw Griffin break the all-time single-game record for receiving yards in a game with 256 yards on just seven receptions. Going forward, expect to see more of Griffin with the ball in his hands, if that’s even possible to imagine.

🔼 Fall Ball. The desert just got a bit warmer with three of State’s former Diamond Dawgs suiting up this fall in the Arizona Fall League for their pro teams. Rowdey Jordan will be representing the Mets, Will Bednar will represent the Orioles and Eric Cerantola will represent the Royals.

All Time Low. Bulldog men’s golf put together the second-lowest opening round in program history, but it was still a few off of the all-time best round State has ever shot.
