🔼 Hail To The Victors. The downpour over the Maroon and White faithful at Davis Wade Stadium in the Bulldog’s season opener was no match for the power of the cowbells and the electric offense in a 56-7 victory over Eastern Kentucky on Saturday night. With the victory over EKU, State has its 19th straight victory over an FCS opponent dating back to 2005.

🗣️ "I think there was a whole lot of good. Proud of our guys for their energy and their competitive spirit, the toughness they played with but there are so many things to clean up I think that's the biggest takeaway is that you got a chance to go win the way we won but we are going to need to play better…” - Jeff Lebby

With the cowbells roaring throughout the match, the Bulldogs delivered a last-minute win, thanks to a clutch goal by Ally Perry in the 89th minute.
