🔼 It Means More. Bulldog volleyball will have more to look forward to next season after the SEC announced its plans to relaunch the conference’s Volleyball Championship beginning in 2025. The 2025 SEC Volleyball Championship is scheduled for November 21-25, 2025 at Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia. In addition, upcoming tournaments at the venue are scheduled for November 20-24, 2026 and November 19-23, 2027.

🔼 Home Sweet Home. The open arms that greeted Bulldog soccer head coach James Armstrong when he was hired as the head coach of State's soccer program in 2019 provided a welcoming embrace as he prepared to build a foundation for his family and team at MSU. Starkville is home. It's what Armstong was looking for as he decided where he wanted to be as he raised his family and coached soccer. He wanted to build a program from the ground up and attract the thousands of screaming, supportive and cowbell-ringing fans who give it their all to support the Bulldogs. Since arriving in Starkville five years ago following a couple of decades coaching elsewhere, Armstrong has shattered a plethora of records at MSU.

🗣️ "There was an opportunity to do something that has never been done before, which was exciting. Putting together a staff was really important. All of those things [were] factors in terms of piquing my interest, and then I got to come here. I got to see Starkville, I got to see the people and I got to see the community. That made me realize that it was a place where I could see myself raising my family.” - James Armstrong

🔼 Piling Up Dubs. All four Mississippi State men's tennis players participating in the ITF Fayetteville 15K are moving on to the second round of the main draw in both singles and doubles. The opening round of the singles main draw started on Wednesday and saw another sweep by the Bulldogs with juniors Petar Jovanovic, Mario Martinez Serrano and Benito Sanchez Martinez along with freshman Niccolo Baroni collecting victories.

🔼 A Few More Pieces. Bulldog men’s basketball added a couple more dates to its 2024-25 SEC schedule. With nine home and nine road games within the conference, State will be ready to take on mostly familiar foes, in addition to games against both Oklahoma and Texas.

🔼 Standing Out. Mississippi State has begun a new era, and veteran players like Hunter Washington are responsible for leaving a trail. In his third season wearing the Maroon and White, Washington has been a leader as the Bulldogs find their way under first-year head coach Jeff Lebby. The junior safety is a key component of a secondary that has caught some by surprise. So far this year, the Bulldog defensive backs rank among the country's top third in passing yards allowed. Washington and the Mississippi State secondary look to continue their high level of play this Saturday against Florida in a battle of two teams who are hungry to notch a massive SEC win.
