Dear Ol’ State: Answering The Right Way. On the latest edition of Dear Ol' State, Joel Coleman and Logan Lowery bring you head football coach Jeff Lebby's weekly press conference and discuss how the leader of the Bulldogs' consistent style seems to be the perfect approach to help MSU bounce back.

🔼 Highlighting The Dawgs. The season has just begun for many of the Mississippi State Athletics programs, but some Bulldog student-athletes are already showing their star power.

⭐️ Through four matches with Bulldog volleyball, Kailin Newsome has racked up four double-doubles and leads the team in kills (59) and digs (61). Her 25 kills against Notre Dame were the 2nd-best in the SEC and her 22 digs were the 4th-best in the conference.

⭐️ State football wideout Kevin Coleman is just one of three receivers in the SEC and six pass catchers in the nation to have recorded a score of 80+ yards. He leads the Bulldogs in yards (191) and touchdowns (2).

🔼 Turning Heads. Since completing his collegiate career in Starkville in 2023, former Bulldog pitcher KC Hunt is showing why he deserves his shot. Currently, in the Milwaukee Brewer’s farm system, Hunt earned Pitcher of the Month honors after allowing just six earned runs and striking out 35 batters in 27.2 innings of work. The former Diamond Dawg walked just three batters and finished August with a 32% strikeout rate.

🔼 New Date, Same Tour. Hardy and the QUIT!! tour is coming to StarkVegas, but instead of Thursday, the group will perform at Dudy Noble Field on September 13 with special guests Randy Houser and Travis Denning. For more information on tickets and timing, visit HailState.comHARDY.
