Dear Ol’ State Inside The Huddle: Jackie Sherrill Talks Snow Bowl. A big weekend is coming up in Starkville. Mississippi State football is hosting No. 15 Tennessee, plus MSU will honor the 25th anniversary of the memorable victory by the 2000 Bulldogs in the Independence Bowl, better known by history as the Snow Bowl. On this week's Inside The Huddle edition of Dear Ol' State, Joel Coleman and Logan Lowery relive that game by visiting with legendary head coach Jackie Sherrill.

🔼 Tough As Fluff. Fluff Bothwell is a young man with a big heart. That comes out when you hear him speak about his pets.
The animal lover is the proud owner of three dogs, a snake and a pair of guinea pigs. It might sound like a lot.
"It's not too much though if it's something that you love," Bothwell said.
Yep. There is a soft side to MSU's talented sophomore running back who's making a lot of early-season noise for the Bulldogs. But don't mistake Bothwell's gentleness for weakness. This bruising ball-carrier is as tough as they come, both on the football field and between the ears.
🔼 SEC’s Best. After a career-best weekend in the Mason Rudolph Championship, Mississippi State golfer Samantha Whateley has been named the SEC Golfer of the Week!
🔼 Dominant Dawgs. What a start it has been for Mississippi State volleyball! As the Bulldogs get set to open up Southeastern Conference play against No. 18 Florida on Friday, MSU is rolling.
As league play begins, it bears appreciating what State has been able to do up to this point.
🔼 State To Sundays. Montez Sweat, Chris Jones, Darius Slay and many other former Dawgs put on a show in the NFL this past weekend!
