📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Portuguese Perfection. Bulldogs men’s basketball headed into their final overseas exhibition against the Basketball Association of Porto, and came away not only with a win, but a perfect 3-0 record during their time in Portugal.

State had three players finish in the double digits. Josh Hubbard led the way with 18 points, including an 11-point third quarter. With their three-game tour behind them, State’s players have the rest of their trip to continue to build on team bonding and team camaraderie before they return to Starkville on August 5th.

🔼 No Fly Zone. Former Bulldog Emmanuel Forbes keeps on turning heads during Washington Commanders’ training camp. With plays like this, it’s easy to see why. The 16th overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft is looking to make Forbes Island uninhabitable this season.

🔼 Dear Ol’ State Preseason. After a couple of years away from the program, tight end Geor’quarius Spivey is eager and ready to get back out on the football field. He, along with the newly named 2023 Outland Trophy watchlist nominee Jaden Crumedy, stop by the pod to discuss all things MSU football ahead of preseason camp.

🔼 It Starts Now. The 2023 Bulldog soccer squad has officially begun their journey to the regular season. State soccer takes to their home pitch in just four days when Kennesaw State comes to Starkville for an exhibition match.
