🐶 And much, much more!
🎥 HAIL STATE PLUS
Dawg Days. Neil and Co. dive back into Bulldog preseason camp to interview Bulldog wide receiver Freddie Roberson, long snapper Hayes Hammond, running back Keyvone Lee and defensive end Demonte Russell on their thoughts on how things have been going thus far.
With HailState+ you get to watch wherever you want to watch. Web, mobile, and (later this year) all major OTT streaming apps like AppleTV, Amazon FireTV, Roku, and Android. We got it all.
📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Bulldogs Turned Stars. Two former Bulldogs, and former World Athletics Championship medalists, return to the track for their countries to compete for medals in the 800m event.
👟 Marco Arop is heading into the championships off of a No. 1 spot in the world rankings, and a win in the same event on his home turf in Canada. After becoming the first Canadian to medal in the event since 2007, Arop is racing for more.
👟 Navasky Anderson is coming in off of a national record of 1:44.70 earlier this summer, and will compete in the World Athletics Championships for the second time in his young career.
🔼 By The Numbers. State soccer’s tie against Arizona State might not have been the result they had hoped for, but with the defense they displayed, this team will have a chance to win in every game. They held the Sun Devils to the lowest number of shots against a Pac-12 school in program history, and held them to zero total shots for the first 61 minutes of the game. Sooner or later that defensive effort will pay off.
🔼 HailState+. State football’s documentary series “This is Mississippi State” is among the best pieces of Bulldog football content you can find. As we await for the next episode of this powerhouse series, tune in to episode two to hear from coaches and players, as well as an inside look at their practice over at South Farm.

🔼 Tone Setter. “Tough, hard-nosed, disciplined…when you line up against Mississippi State, you better pack your lunch box and hard hat because it’s going to be a physical game.” The next chapter of State football begins in two Saturdays with the SEC’s only undefeated head coach at the helm for his first full season.
🔼 World-Class Coaching. Track and field head coach Chris Woods was an elite athlete in his day, but as a coach, he has what it takes to take elite athletes, and make them even better.
Earlier, we mentioned both Anderson and Arop will be facing off against each other in the 800m, and it just so happens that these two world-class athletes are the only two to break Coach Woods’ 800m school record. Woods knows how to get the best out of his team, and it’s apparent now with two of them at the World Athletics Championships, as well as a handful of others who have seen faster times with the assistance of Coach Woods.
🔼 Never Too Early. Well-known college basketball analyst Jon Rothstein released his rankings for the SEC this season, and State had a couple of mentions in some promising spots.
🏀 Tolu Smith was put on his SEC Preseason First Team roster.
🏀 Andrew Taylor was named one of 15 ‘SEC impact transfers’.
🏀 State was chosen by Rothstein as the fifth best team in the conference.
