🔼 Not Sorry. Six Mississippi State Bulldogs were named to the 2025 Reese's Senior Bowl Watchlist: Eric Taylor, Trent Hudson, Ethan Miner, Blake Shapen, Kelly Akharaiyi, and Corey Ellington. The group of seniors will look to put on a show on the gridiron this season for the Bulldogs as they enter their last season of collegiate play.

🔼 Conference Competitors. The SEC revealed further details of the 2024-25 Bulldog women's basketball schedule by announcing game dates. The SEC saw eight teams earn berths to the 2024 NCAA Tournament and 11 total advances to postseason play last season. With the addition of new members Texas and Oklahoma, Mississippi State will play 11 conference games against teams that made the NCAA Tournament. Bookended by single road games, Mississippi State's conference schedule alternates between pairs of home and away games.

🔼 Staying in Starkville. After closing out their playing careers with the Bulldogs last season, men’s golf and softball will bring back a pair of former student-athletes and add them to the coaching staff as graduate assistants.

⛳️ Pedro Cruz Silva will return to Starkville as a graduate assistant on the Bulldogs' men's golf staff after having won his country's National Amateur Championship twice while competing with the team. He also played in the European Amateur Championship twice and won Portugal's 2023 Kendall Cup, one of the country's oldest national competitions for male amateurs.

🥎 Matalasi Faapito returns to Bulldog softball as a grad assistant after spending three seasons in Starkville. She played in 137 games as a Bulldog where she totaled 19 home runs and 59 RBI in her career. The two-way player also made 51 appearances in the circle for State, posting a career 2.70 ERA with four saves out of the bullpen and 132 career strikeouts.

🔼 The Grind Begins. A busy fall slate awaits the Bulldog women's tennis team under second-year head coach Chris Hooshyar. The Bulldogs have a dozen tournaments on the docket across seven states spanning from coast to coast in hopes of qualifying for the NCAA Individual Championships to wrap up the fall in November. MSU will open its fall schedule at the Debbie Southern Furman Fall Classic from Sept. 13-15, followed by the Roberta Alison Fall Classic in Alabama from Nov. 1-3. The NCAA Individual Championships are slated for Nov. 19-24 in Waco, Texas.
