⛳️ Logan moving is on at the 124th U.S. Amateur
🐶 And much, much more!
🎙️ DEAR OL’ STATE

🔼 Empowering The Future. One of the most integral keys to building a successful program is forming a foundation built on empowering the athletes of the future, and after leaving it all on the pitch for the Bulldogs since 2020, graduate midfielder Macey Hodge has used that sentiment to leave the Mississippi State soccer program better than she found it.
🗣️ "Our biggest thing moving forward is empowering the younger girls and making sure that they know the standards [and] the expectations. We love them, we support them and it's always going to be a family-type feel. We take a lot of pride in being almost like a catalyst to what we've become now [as a program]." - Macey Hodge
She was named a member of the SEC Preseason Watchlist in back-to-back years and earned All-SEC First Team Midfielder honors last season for her tenacious play on the pitch while also being voted as a captain by her teammates before the start of the 2024 season.
🔼 Top of His Game. After starting the week among a field of 312 players, former Bulldog men’s golfer Hunter Logan is moving on to the Round of 32 at the prestigious 124th U.S. Amateur. With a solid round on Tuesday that saw Logan qualify for the match-play portion of the tournament, the State player went back and forth in his Round of 64 match and eventually won it on the 18th hole with a birdie.
🔼 First Opportunity. The SEC announced the launch of the inaugural SEC Coaches Opportunity Forum with associate head track and field coach April Thomas and assistant head football coach Anthony Tucker in attendance, selected to run the forum. The initiative is a program focused on professional development, mentorship, and networking opportunities. It aims to empower coaches with the knowledge and skills necessary to ascend to head coaching positions in their respective sports.
