📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Walker? More Like Runner! Add another award watch list to the log Bulldog fans. Jo’Quavious ‘Woody’ Marks has been named to the Doak Walker Award watch list - an award that is given to the nation’s top college running back.
For the third time in his career, Marks is making an appearance for the award’s list in 2023. Entering his senior season, the two-dimensional running back comes in with the second-highest receptions by a player at his position in MSU history (191). He is also coming off of career-highs in touchdowns (9) and rushing yards (532) from last season. He will look to add to those numbers as State’s number one option in the backfield this year.
🔼 Volley-Back. With the completion of their first practice of the season, Bulldog volleyball is officially back. Getting a shoutout from the NCAA this early in the season only solidifies that this team is ready for their upcoming season.
🔼 Tee Time. It’s still Major Championship season in the LPGA, and three of our former, and current, Bulldogs will be teeing off this week to compete in the 47th AIG Women’s Open. Playing across the pond, each of State’s representatives will be fighting for the first major in each of their careers.
⛳️ Stay up to date on scoring and videos of this trio of Bulldogs
🔼 Dear Ol’ State. The Dear Ol’ State podcast has had a busy couple of weeks, and they’re not planning on slowing down anytime soon. The crew sits down with veteran offensive lineman Kameron Jones in an exclusive interview to talk about football’s preseason camp and how it’s been going thus far.
🤔 BULLDOG TRIVIA
Big Wins. Our Bulldog women’s golfers will be battling for their first major championship win of their careers, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t already spent some time in the winner’s circle.
Our question today — between Chiara Horder, Ally Ewing, and Julia Lopez Ramirez, how many wins do you think the trio has accumulated during their professional/amateur careers?
Think you know the answer? Scroll on down to the bottom to find out.
