🔼 In-State Win! Mississippi State soccer’s Laila Murillo and Kati Anne Shepherd each scored two goals on Sunday, and the Bulldogs beat Southern Miss in Starkville, 4-0! Mississippi State is now 3-0 on the year while outscoring its opponents 9-1.
🔼 Another Step Forward! Just two weeks remain before Davis Wade Stadium is packed, the cowbells are clanging and Mississippi State’s 2026 season officially begins.
“We wanted it to be game-like today – our sideline operation, our sideline communication, and how we do what we do between drives and have the ability to get our iPads out and go through the script,” MSU head coach Jeff Lebby said. “With the mock game next week, we’ll have the opportunity to do it again before we go do it for real. Had a good amount of live work today and went into thud, but the best thing is being off the grass and everybody healthy.”

J.T. Gray, who wore No. 12 for his final two seasons as a Bulldog from 2016-17, collected 136 total tackles during that time, including 11 for loss, 2.5 sacks and a 58-yard interception returned for a touchdown.
