🔼 Big Man. The new 6-foot-10 big man on MSU’s campus is looking to become a bigger presence in the locker room this coming November for the Bulldogs.

🗣️ “[Coach Jans] told me a lot that I didn’t know about myself. He opened my eyes, opened my mom’s eyes and we just fell in love with being [at MSU].” - Jimmy Bell Jr.

Joining the Bulldogs from West Virginia, Jimmy Bell Jr.’s size and grind on his game will be the biggest asset to the team going forward. He’s ready to contribute in any way he can, and his winning attitude will carry over well to this team that made an NCAA Tournament appearance last year.

🔼 New Challenge. After spending four years with Marshall and the Thundering Herd, new transfer guard Andrew Taylor is looking to prove he has what it takes to play in the SEC.

🗣️ “I think coming to [State] and learning how to play with some of these dudes who were top players in their classes in the country — they came in with a chip on their shoulder. If we’re able to come together and put it all together, that’s what I’m looking forward to.” - Andrew Taylor

Last season, Taylor was the only player in the NCAA to average at least 20 points, 4.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and two steals per game. One of the most productive players in the country certainly has the Dawg in him to be a big contributor.
