🔼 Headed to Space City. One of the top annual regular-season tournaments in college baseball will include the Bulldogs in 2025. The Diamond Dawgs will travel to Houston, Texas, to play in the Astros Foundation College Classic at Minute Maid Park. The tournament includes fellow SEC teams, Tennessee and Texas A&M, as well as Arizona, Oklahoma State and Rice.

🔼 Classroom Club Twirl. The WGCA announced junior Chiara Horder, sophomore Izzy Pellot and freshman Avery Weed represented the Bulldogs on this year's 2024 All-American Scholar Team. To be selected, the golfer must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur golfer throughout the 2024 season and have played in at least 50% of all their teams' events.

🔼 Three’s Company. Mississippi State men's tennis rounded out its staff with the hire of assistant coach, Trevor Gotkowski. Gotkowski comes to Starkville after spending two seasons at The Citadel, where he served as associate coach. During his time at The Citadel, he helped lead the team to 18 victories - eight of which were shutouts - and competed in the inaugural NIT Championships.

🗣️ "When we had the opportunity to add a third coach, we chose to take our time and find the right candidate and Trevor checked all the boxes we had. He brings a ton of energy and expertise.” - Matt Roberts, head coach

🔼 State to the Show. Three Bulldog professional softball players led their teams to undefeated weeks in the second week of WPF and AFP action. Aspen Wesley and Brylie St. Clair's Texas Monarchs swept the Hub City Adelitas in a four-game series, while Madisyn Kennedy's Florida Vibe beat Team Mexico three times.

Wesley tossed her first complete game as a pro, allowing just one run while striking out four. St. Clair sparked the Monarch offense and is now tied for fifth on the team with a .333 on-base percentage. Kennedy and the Vibe outscored Team Mexico, 38-0, and State's All-American reached base and scored in all three games.

🔼 Top Shot. After 101 games through three seasons in the Maroon and White, Bulldog men’s basketball’s D.J. Jeffries is getting his shot in the NBA after signing with the Memphis Grizzlies.
