🔼 The Pick Is In! A pair of Diamond Dawgs heard their name called on the first day of the MLB Draft on Saturday — Ace Reese was selected 24th overall by the Seattle Mariners and Ben Davis by the Colorado Rockies in the fourth round!

Two more Bulldogs came off the board on Sunday, with outfielders Bryce Chance and Aidan Teel hearing their names called.

🔼 The Long Route Home! After arriving in Starkville for one final season, Brenen Thompson found more than a stop on the road to the NFL Draft — he found home.

🔼 Bounce Back! We have 54 days until Mississippi State football’s season opener against ULM on Saturday, September 5!

Blake Steen, who wears No. 54 for the Bulldogs, started the season opener on the offensive line last season against Southern Miss before suffering a season-ending injury. Before transferring to Mississippi State in 2025, Steen made 17 starts at Virginia.
