🔼  Through Two. Through day two at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, the Bulldogs have collected more All-American accolades. The performance of the day belonged to decathlon athlete Peyton Bair who finished as the national runner-up. Bair broke the two-decade-old record after accumulating 8,131 points to earn First Team All-American status.

Adding to the list of All-Americans was Franck Di Sanza who finished as an Honorable Mention after an 18th-place finish in the javelin. Two relay teams finished with Honorable Mentions as well, with the women’s 4×100 team earning 18th place and the men’s 4×400 squad finishing in 17th place.

🔼  Media Sesh. Bulldog men’s basketball head coach Chris Jans met with the media as summer workouts began for the program. During his interview, Jans talks about his contract extension, his hopes for Josh Hubbard as he transitions to his sophomore year, establishing culture year after year, and much more.

🔼  Dogwood Days. Competing at the Dogwood Invitational, an amateur golf championship played annually in Atlanta, Bulldog golfers Harrison Davis and Hunter Logan currently sit in the top 35. The invitation-only field consists of some of the game’s best amateurs as the tournament is considered one of the top 150 men’s events worldwide.

Hubbard was honored with the Howell Trophy while Jordan was awarded the Ferriss Trophy. Both trophies were given to the best player in the state of Mississippi.
