🔼 Dawgs of Summer. Mississippi State sent a dozen players to participate in six different summer leagues across the country. Let’s look in for our weekly check in to see just how well some of our Diamond Dawgs are doing so far this summer.

🦇 Dakota Jordan: the Newport Gulls got themselves a slugger this summer in Mr. Jordan. This summer, he is hitting .393 at the plate with 11 hits and a .528 on base percentage.

💥 Hunter Hines, as you may have seen in previous editions, has been balling out with the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox and has averaged .328 at the plate. He leads the league in home runs (6) and RBIs (22).

❌ Evan Siary has been wheeling and dealing on the mound for the Amsterdam Mohawks in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League. He holds a record of 3-0 and an impressive 1.01 ERA with 18 strikeouts.

💨 David Mershon has been a menace on the base path for the Ocean State Waves. The speedster is second in the league with nine stolen bases.

🤔 BULLDOG TRIVIA

Steee-rike! MSU softball had their fair share of strikeouts this season. This year’s Bulldogs squad had enough to rank sixth all-time in number of strikeouts in a single-season.
