On a recent episode with the Dear Ol’ State podcast, Coach Parker sat down and gave us his answers on his relationship with the rest of the coaches, his early impressions of the pitching staff thus far, and how he plans to get the job done.

🔼 At A Glance. Bulldog soccer season is just around the corner, and earlier this weekend, their official schedule for the 2023 season was released.

In the 18-match schedule for this upcoming season, State will face off against seven teams that made the NCAA Tournament last year. Embarking at his fifth season at the helm, Coach James Armstrong has become familiar with both the style of his team, and the rest of the teams in the SEC. The road to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances for MSU starts August 7th.

🔼 Power Hitter. The AUX seems to be no match for the bat of Mia Davidson-Smith after hitting her league-leading fifth home run of the season in just 10 games. As part of aggregate points accumulated throughout each game (a sum of MVP points, Win points, and Stats points), Mia has climbed all the way up to sixth place in the entire league. We can’t say that we’re surprised.
