🔼  State To The Show. Opening Day is upon us for four former Mississippi State softball players as Women's Pro Fastpitch (WPF) and the Association of Fastpitch Professionals (AFP) begin their seasons this week. Chloe Malau'ulu and Madisyn Kennedy's AFP season begins in Chattanooga, Tennessee, at the Scenic City Pro Cup where they will go head-to-head this week. Meanwhile, in San Marcos, Texas, Brylie St. Clair and Aspen Wesley begin their professional careers with the Texas Monarchs in the WPF.

🔼  More Than Athletes. Fresh off performances at the NCAA Championships, State track and field had four of its student-athletes selected to the CSC Academic All-District Team. Bulldogs Remi Rougetet, Johnathan Jones, Emma Hunt and Jhordyn Stallworth all represented Mississippi State on the list due to their excellence both in the classroom and on the track and field.

🔼  To The Green. Former Bulldog men’s golfer Ford Clegg has earned exempt status for the North American Swing on PGA Tour Americas and will play the full schedule beginning with the Beachlands Victoria Open this weekend. Clegg is set to tee off the first round on Thursday at 10:10 a.m. CT. On Friday, he will begin the second round at 3:10 p.m. From there, the field will be cut to the low 60 and ties before Saturday's third and Sunday's final rounds.

🔼  New Team In Town. Mississippi State’s Athletic Department announced two key additions to the new student-athlete brand services and business development team. Brandon Lee joins the staff as the Associate AD/Student-Athlete Brand Strategy & Innovation, and Maya Bulger has been tabbed Assistant AD/NIL Administration & Partnerships.
