🔼  Terrific Trio. A trio of Diamond Dawgs were named to the 2024 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association's (NCBWA) All-America Teams. Dakota Jordan and Jurrangelo Cijntje were named NCBWA Second Team All-Americans, while Khal Stephen was a third-team selection. Cijntje becomes the first pitcher since Landon Sims in 2021 to earn multiple All-America honors in a single season.

🔼  Top of the Podium. After earning an All-American Second Team at the NCAA Outdoor Championships a week ago, freshman Roury McCloyen took home the gold medal in the discus at the USATF U20 Championships to qualify for the U20 World Championships in Peru later this year. The Mississippi native finished with a personal-record mark of 60.28m on his first attempt — nearly a 12-foot improvement from his previous personal best.

🔼  Global Game. The Soccer Dawgs welcomed Ines Simas to her new home as she prepares to compete for the Bulldogs for the 2024 season. The Portuguese standout has represented her country in the U15, U16, U17 and U18 teams, and has won two National Championships — one in 2022 and most recently in 2024.

🤔 BULLDOG TRIVIA

Got Him. Dual-handed pitcher Jurrangelo Cijntje has racked up the much-deserved accolades this offseason. On the mound, he tied for the team lead in wins with eight and led the team in strikeouts.
