State finished out the week with two First Team All-Americans and three Second Team All-Americans throughout three days of competition. Throwers Jhordyn Stallworth and Roury McCloyen wrapped up the competition for the Bulldogs as each earned Second Team All-American selections for finishing 11th and 22nd, respectively.

Mississippi State's 2023-24 athletic year has ended with the conclusion of these track and field championships.

🔼  Big League Status. A third Bulldog softball player from the 2024 roster has signed a professional contract. Aspen Wesley, the Second Team All-SEC selection, will continue her career from the circle with the Texas Monarchs, joining teammate Brylie St. Clair.

🗣️ "I never thought it would happen, but the Lord has bigger and better plans. I'm so incredibly blessed to be playing pro, and I couldn't be more excited about representing MSU in this new adventure." - Aspen Wesley

This past season, Wesley led the team in appearances, ERA, opposing batting average and wins while also leading the squad and setting career highs in strikeouts and innings pitched.

🔼  Here We Go. After a historic 2023 season, the Soccer Dawgs learned the path to repeating success with the release of the 2024 SEC schedule. The team will play 10 conference games including matches against two SEC newcomers in Oklahoma and Texas.

🔼  The Best, Around. For the second consecutive season, Bulldog men’s tennis was tabbed as the top men's tennis program in the ITA Southern Regional. In addition to the Bulldogs earning the No. 1 regional ranking as a team, the All-American doubles tandem of Petar Jovanovic and Benito Sanchez Martinez were dubbed the top doubles duo in the Southern Regional. State finished the season ranked 13th in the nation with a 19-8 overall record and advanced to the Round of 16 at the NCAA Tournament for the fifth time in the past six seasons.
