🔼 History Makers. It was a historic weekend for softball as the opening weekend for the Athletes United Softball League showed off in a big way in Rosemont, Illinois.
This summer will mark the inaugural season for the AUSL, which is transitioning to a traditional team format for the first time.
Three former Bulldogs will be a part of the historic league with Raelin Chaffin and Sierra Sacco’s career kicking off this past weekend and doing so in a BIG WAY.
In her first career at-bat with the AUSL, Sacco launched the first HR in league history and on Sunday Chaffin tossed three scoreless innings, allowing just one hit in her pro debut.
Mia Davidson will also be a part of the league, but she is one of 10 players who will miss the beginning of the season while finishing the first half of the Japan Diamond League. She will return stateside next weekend.

🔼 Record Breaker. We have 82 days until Mississippi State football’s season opener at Southern Miss on August 30!
Former Bulldog Emmanuel Forbes took an interception back 82 yards for a touchdown against ETSU on Nov. 19, 2022, breaking the SEC record for pick-sixes in the process!
