🎥 THE DUDES

The Dudes: Grand Purpose (S.1 E.4). In this episode, we follow Burke Masters from his iconic grand slam to send the Bulldogs to Omaha to his unexpected path as a Catholic priest and now as the Chicago Cubs' team chaplain. Reflecting on his college years, Masters shares how baseball instilled in him values that still resonate today. Integrating his love for the game with his spiritual calling, he finds fulfillment in guiding players both on and off the field. Through his story, we witness the seamless blending of sportsmanship, faith, and the unwavering belief in God's plan that defines Masters' remarkable journey.

🎥 ALL-ACCESS

All-Access: London Tour. Spring break was unforgettable for our bulldog soccer club as they traveled to London to play a few games in the sport's homeland. Hear about the highlights as Macey Hodges, Maddie Anderson, and James Armstrong tell us about their trip across the pond.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Through Two. After day two at the NCAA Bermuda Run Regional, Bulldog women’s golf sits in fourth place. State currently sits one stroke ahead of fifth-place Tennessee, who is four-under-par.  Leading the way was duo Surapa Janthamunee and Julia Lopez Ramirez who fired off rounds in the 60s to finish the day in the top ten.

🔼 Ready To Roll. Behind NCAA Pitcher of the Week Aspen Wesley, No. 17-ranked Bulldog softball will open the SEC Tournament on Wednesday night. State earned the No. 6 seed, its highest finish since the shift to the current 24-game schedule, and will play No. 11-seed South Carolina at approximately 7 p.m. The Bulldogs' 12-12 finish in conference play is their highest win total since 2012 and their first .500 record since 2007.

🔼 A Helping Hand. Bulldog softball’s Hosanna Lindblade was named as Mississippi State's representative on the 2024 SEC Community Service Team. She led the Bulldogs in service hours this year with more than double that of anyone else on the roster. Lindblade is very active in her local church in Starkville, volunteering with the New Horizons youth group, as well as with Starkville Strong, a local service organization in the city.

🔼 Final Five.  Diamond Dawg outfielder and power hitter Dakota Jordan has been named one of five finalists for the 2024 Ferris Trophy, an award presented annually to the most outstanding college player in Mississippi. Over his sophomore season at MSU, Jordan has shined for the Diamond Dawgs as he leads the team in home runs (16) and RBIs (56) while having the seventh-best batting average in the SEC hitting .367.

🔼 Big Time Moves. Not only are Bulldog men’s golfers Josep Serra and Garrett Endicott succeeding with State, but the pair did well enough to advance to the next round of qualifying for the U.S. Open. Serra will compete on May 20th in the field while Endicott will wait it out as an alternate for a chance to play at Pinehurst next month.
