🔼 Maximum Impact. As the new era of college athletics continues to roll in with NIL, Bulldog softball’s Brylie St. Clair has taken full advantage, and because of it, has been chosen as one of eight finalists for Female Athlete of the Year at the Influencer Summit’s NIL Awards. The award honors the student-athlete who has exhibited the best use of their name, image and likeness.

🗣️ “…it's honestly just improved my life for the better, and I'm very thankful for the opportunities that I've had. The support I have received at Mississippi State has helped me secure many NIL deals. It has been an honor to showcase the school that has given me so much." - Brylie St. Clair

🔼 Ready To Rock. Seniors Nemanja Malesevic and Carles Hernandez have been through it all, and now, their wish of getting one last shot to play on their home courts to start postseason play has come true. Bulldog men’s tennis will host an NCAA Regional for the second year in a row and will host Alabama State, Georgia Tech and Middle Tennessee State. The Bulldogs will play in their first match today at 1 p.m., followed by a winner-take-all match on Saturday to move on to the Super Regionals.

🔼 Acts of Service. Bulldog men’s tennis’ Carles Hernandez and track and field’s Julia Lasley were selected by the SEC as Mississippi State's winners of the Brad Davis Community Service Award. Hernandez played tennis with students in MSU's ACCESS Program, which serves students with intellectual or developmental disabilities. He also spent time inspiring children during an outing at Skate Odyssey in Starkville. Lasley, a 2023 SEC Community Service Team selection, has volunteered her time helping with The Partnership Morning Dropoff numerous times and provided local middle school students with motivation and encouragement.

🔼 Anchoring Arms. The Diamond Dawgs have found success on the mound as of late, and a big part of that is because of bullpen anchors Tyson Hardin and Tyler Davis. Combined, the duo has thrown 11 2/3 innings without allowing an earned run and striking out 17 dating back to April 19. They have a couple of saves each in this span and have surrendered very little to opposing lineups at all, giving up only eight hits and two walks.

🗣️ “Those guys, they're feeling it right now. They're feeling good.  They're stacking some good days and they're stacking them on top of each other, which is nice.  It's fun to watch." - Chris Lemonis, head coach

The duo will get another chance to shine this weekend in a big series against Alabama at home in Dudy Noble Field.
