🐶 ONE BIG THING

🔼  Postseason Play. The Diamond Dawgs concluded the SEC Tournament after falling to the No. 1 seed Tennessee Volunteers in the quarterfinals on Friday night. Bulldog baseball wrapped up its showing in the conference tournament with a 2-2 record with wins over Ole Miss and Texas A&M. Each of State’s two losses came by just one run.

Now, the Diamond Dawgs will await the announcement of the field of 64 teams for the 2024 NCAA college baseball championship at 11 a.m. today on ESPN2. The 64 teams will be placed in 16 different four-team regions, with teams seeded one through four to compete in a double-elimination format.
