🔼  Another Won. The Diamond Dawgs scored two runs in the top of the ninth inning to break the tie and secure the victory over Texas A&M in the SEC Tournament, 5-3. The Bulldogs recorded nine hits, three of which came from David Merson who finished 3-for-4 at the plate with a double and a home run. For the second game in a row, Connor Hujsak came through in the clutch with a two-RBI single.

State continues on and will now face off against No. 8 seed Vanderbilt at approximately 8:00 p.m. tonight.

🔼  Stacking Wins. Bulldogs Petar Jovanovic and Benito Sanchez Martinez knocked off TCU's ninth-ranked tandem in straight sets 6-4, 7-5 in the second round of the NCAA Doubles Championships. The victory sent the duo into the quarterfinals and secured their All-American status. The two will not take on Texas’ 24th-ranked duo today at 2:30 p.m.

🔼  Day One Success. Mississippi State's men's track and field team punched three tickets to Eugene and three trips to Friday's quarterfinals on the opening day of the NCAA East First Round. Despite multiple weather delays, Franck Di Sanza (javelin), Remi Rougetet (javelin) and Roury McCloyen (Shot put) qualified for the NCAA Championships.

Today’s events will begin with the javelin featuring senior Ella Knott, followed by the 100m hurdles featuring Indoor Championships qualifier, Rosealee Cooper. Cooper placed seventh at the NCAA Indoor Championship in the 60m hurdles earlier this season.

🔼  Dear Ol’ State. On Tuesday night, State pitcher Brooks Auger delivered the game of his life to lead the Diamond Dawgs to a 2-1 win over Ole Miss at the SEC Tournament. On the latest episode from the Dear Ol' State podcast, the MSU hurler joins Joel Coleman and Logan Lowery to discuss his unforgettable performance.
