🔼 Best In Class. For the first time since 2021, the Ferriss Trophy, presented by the Mississippi band of Choctaw Indians and Pearl River Resort, is returning to StarkVegas after Dakota Jordan was selected for the award. Over his sophomore season at State, Jordan has shined for the Diamond Dawgs and led the team in home runs (17) and RBIs (61). Jordan also holds the seventh-best batting average in the SEC, hitting .363 at the plate.

🔼 California Conclusion. Bulldog women's golf team concluded its run at the 2024 NCAA Women's Golf Championship as the team fell short of advancing to the match-play portion of the tournament. The Bulldogs made the cut to reach the fourth round for the second straight year and the second time in program history since a third-round cut was added when the format changed in 2015. After her final round, Julia Lopez Ramirez finished with a four-day total of 2-under par, good for eighth place.

🔼 It Takes Two. Bulldog men’s tennis duo Petar Jovanovic and Benito Sanchez Martinez are set to take the courts in the NCAA Doubles Championship. The two have posted an impressive 22-10 record together this year, which is tied for the eighth-most wins in a single season at MSU.

The NCAA Singles Championships began on Monday with a pair of Bulldogs competing. No. 48-ranked Jovanovic fell 6-1, 6-3 while No. 47 Nemanja Malesevic saw his storied collegiate career come to a close following a 6-3, 6-2 loss.

🔼 Run It Back. After leading the Mississippi State men's basketball program to consecutive NCAA Tournament trips, head coach Chris Jans has signed a contract extension through the 2027-28 season. Over his first two seasons, Jans has guided the Bulldogs back to college basketball's biggest stage fueled by a pair of 21-win campaigns. The last time State collected consecutive NCAA Tournament trips was in 2007-08 and 2008-09.

🗣️ "We are excited for the future of Mississippi State basketball under the leadership of Coach Jans. He and his staff have done a tremendous job since arriving in Starkville, and we know the best is yet to come.” - Zac Selmon, Director of Athletics
