🔼 Season’s End. Bulldog men’s golf ended its 2023-24 campaign at the NCAA Regionals in West Lafayette, Indiana with a seventh-place, 7-over par finish. The highest individual finisher for the Bulldogs was Garrett Endicott, who carded an even-par round to finish tied for fourth in the field at 5-under par over his three rounds.

🗣️ “We put ourselves in a great position going into the final round and unfortunately did not get the job done. Sometimes the journey doesn't take you to the destination you want. I am so proud of the guys and how they kept battling after the start we got off to."  - Dusty Smith, head coach

🔼 Top Tier Play. For the second year in a row, Bulldog women’s golf’s Julia Lopez Ramirez was named one of five finalists for the WGCA Player of the Year Watch List. The two-time WGCA All-American honoree, SEC Player of the Year, and selection to the ANNIKA Award watch list earned top-three finishes in five of her seven stroke play tournaments this season. She has two victories including the SEC Individual Championship.

🔼 Man of the People. Diamond Dawg sophomore infielder David Mershon was named to the SEC Community Service Team for the efforts he has made in and around Starkville this year.

Mershon has spent his time off the field with local charities in the Golden Triangle area as well as Central Mississippi. He has given time to the Miracle League in Columbus where he helps children with disabilities play baseball, and he has volunteered at a local food pantry at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Starkville.

🔼 New Heights. In his fourth season in Starkville, Charlie Ewing has taken the program to heights never seen before. He was rewarded with his selection to this year’s WGCA National Coach of the Year Watch List. The Bulldogs secured their first SEC Championship and the program's third individual champion in Julia Lopez Ramirez, the fourth golfer in history to win back-to-back SEC Individual Championships.
