👟 Day one of the SEC Championships
⚾️ Preview for the Battle at Baum
 🐶 And much, much more!

🎥 THE DUDES

The Dudes: Ring of Honor (S.1 E.3). The Ron Polk Ring of Honor recognizes the very best to come through the Mississippi State baseball program. This year, former pitcher Bobby Reed and current radio announcer Jim Ellis were inducted for their achievements and had their names enshrined at Dudy Noble Field. Hear from both Jim and Bobby as they reminisce on their careers and reflect on what this honor means to them.

🎥 ALL-ACCESS

All-Access: First Responders HR Derby. Following the Bulldog's exciting win in softball against Florida, The Starkville Police and Fire departments went up against each other in their annual home-run derby.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Strong First Impression. Mississippi State track and field closed out the first day at the 2024 SEC Outdoor Championships on Thursday with 10 personal records, three all-time top-five performances and three trips to the finals. Jordan Ware, Tyrese Reid and Mallory Streetman each earned spots in their final events slated for Saturday, with Ware earning an automatic trip to the 200m finals after winning his heat. Events will continue on day two at 9 a.m. today with the decathlon.

🔼 Battle At Baum. The Diamond Dawgs head out to Fayetteville, Arkansas to take on the top five-ranked Razorbacks as the regular season winds to a close. This weekend, the Bulldogs will have a chance to gain some ground in the SEC West standings with State just three games back of the first-place spot.

🔼 Coming Up Clutch. Former Bulldog men’s golfer Bo Blanchard became the second player from Mississippi State to advance to the next round of U.S. Open Qualifying. Blanchard caught heat, shooting a career-low, bogey-free 5-under-par round (65) to keep the hopes of playing in a major tournament alive.

🔼 State To Success. Senior Bulldog student-athletes from all athletic programs have been walking the stage to embark on their next journey outside Starkville. Here are a few quotes from some of your favorite Bulldogs as they look back on their time on and off the field at Mississippi State:

🗣️ “Graduation from Mississippi State is a special milestone that will mark the end of the best chapter of my life so far. With the next chapter waiting, I feel prepared and confident to go out and pursue my passions thanks to the experiences I had here as a Bulldog.” - Alexandra Mikhailuk, women’s tennis

🗣️ “Earning a degree from Mississippi State means a lot to me. Having the opportunity to play sports while in college, I know that time does not last for long and that taking your education seriously is important.” - Jimmy Bell Jr., men’s basketball

🗣️ “Life takes you to unexpected places, but love makes it a home. Starkville, Mississippi is my unexpected place, however, the home that I have found and the friendships that I have made are the ones that will last a lifetime.” - Taylor Thames, soccer

🗣️ “Being a student-athlete at Mississippi State has prepared me for graduation and life after college by allowing me to face a diverse number of challenges that built my character both mentally and physically.” - Shamar Rose, track and field
