Good morning! There is nothing but love for all the seniors who play for Mississippi State Athletics. Today, State will celebrate the men’s tennis seniors at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre as they take on Tennessee.

Beyond The Arc: Thank You Seniors (S.1 E.10). Celebrate our seniors Cameron Matthews, Shakeel Moore, Dashawn Davis, Isaac Stansbury, and Jimmy Bell Jr. as they reminisce on their time as Bulldogs.

🔼 Good As Gold. Diamond Dawg Dakota Jordan was named to the Golden Spikes Award Midseason Watch List, continuing the process of identifying the best amateur baseball player of the 2024 season. Appearing in all 30 games the Dawgs have played this season, he leads the team in batting average (.378), home runs (14), RBIs (42), and walks (30). He has 42 hits on the season, with 23 going for extra-base hits. Jordan and the rest of Bulldog baseball will return to action on Friday when the team opens a three-game series against Georgia at The Dude.
🔼 Road Dawgs. Coming off a huge offensive performance, Bulldog softball will hit the road to face off against South Carolina for a three-game series. This season, State is 6-2 on the road with series wins over Ole Miss and top-25 ranked Arkansas. Entering the matchup, the Bulldogs have seven batters with an average of .310 or higher, with Madisyn Kennedy leading the way with a batting average of .395, including a team-leading 14 home runs.
🔼 Top Two. Ahead of this weekend’s Crimson Tide Invitational, the Bulldog men’s 200m event squad came in as the No. 2 team in the nation. The squad, consisting of Jordan Ware, Shamar Rose, Sema’j Daniels and Keldrick Turner, averaged a time of 20.75 this season and sits just .02 seconds out of a first-place spot.
🔼 Keeps Getting Better. The No. 14-ranked Bulldog men’s tennis team will take the courts for the final time at home during the regular season as it prepares to play seventh-ranked Tennessee on Friday at 3 p.m. Prior to the match, the Bulldogs will honor seniors No. 107 Nemanja Malesevic and Carles Hernandez as well as student trainer Lydia Walsh. Malesevic and Hernandez – both All-SEC performers last season – have combined for 234 career wins and made their marks in the MSU record books.
🔼 Keeps Getting Better. Keeormer Bulldog and SEC Player of the Year, Nuno Borges, keeps on winning, taking down the No. 3 seed to advance to the quarterfinals at the Estoril Open. One of the best wins of his professional career came on clay for his third top-30 win of the year.
