All-Access: First Responders Homerun Derby. Following the Bulldog's exciting win in softball against Florida, The Starkville Police and Fire departments went up against each other in their annual home-run derby.

All-Access. Howell Trophy. The Howell Trophy is an award given annually to the best men's college basketball player in the state of Mississippi by the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame, and this year’s winner was none other than Josh Hubbard.

🔼 Don’t Forget About The Defense. Mississippi State head coach Jeff Lebby brought with him to Starkville a well-established reputation for incredibly productive offenses, but last Saturday's Maroon and White spring game demonstrated his defensive unit is just as ready for a little showtime, too.

🔼 Tone Setters. This weekend was another one to remember for the 1971 Diamond Dawg squad who made history as the first Mississippi State baseball team to appear in the College World Series. The team celebrated its 50-year reunion on Friday night during Super Bulldog Weekend and had the opportunity to be honored before the series opener.

🔼 Taking The Lead. Mississippi State's Nemanja Malesevic of men's tennis and Jhordyn Stallworth of women's track and field have each been nominated for the H. Boyd McWhorter Scholar-Athlete Post-Graduate Scholarship. A scholarship presented to the league’s top male and female student-athletes, both Malesevic and Stallworth have been exemplary representatives for Mississippi State on the field of play and in the classroom. Both Bulldogs have been three-time Academic All-SEC honorees and serve as leaders in their respective sports.

🔼 Dear Ol’ State. Super Bulldog Weekend very much lived up to its name. Jeff Lebby's team put on a show at the Maroon and White Game to wrap up spring ball, and the Diamond Dawgs broke out the brooms and swept away Auburn. Joel Coleman and Logan Lowery discuss it all on the latest Dear Ol' State podcast.
