🔼 For The Cup! No. 15 Mississippi State baseball travels to Trustmark Park in Pearl, Miss., today for its annual Governor’s Cup game against Ole Miss! First pitch is set for 6 p.m. on SEC Network+.

🔼 Playing Host! For the eighth time in program history, the first and second rounds of the NCAA Men's Tennis Championships will run through Starkville!

Mississippi State will once again serve as a host site, marking the fourth-straight season the Bulldogs have welcomed NCAA Tournament action to the friendly confines of the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre. The Dawgs earned the fifth overall seed and will host the Starkville Regional and will face fourth-seeded Tennessee Tech on Friday at 1 p.m. 

🔼 Back Home! Mississippi State women’s basketball has added its sixth transfer to the 2026-27 class, signing Starkville native Tookie Lockett!

Lockett, a 5-9 guard and graduate of Starkville High School, started her collegiate career an hour and a half away at Itawamba Community College in Fulton under former Bulldog Robin Porter. Lockett started all 30 games and averaged 14.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.5 steals per game during her sophomore season.
