🔼 Spring Sweepin’. The pitching staff of the 17th-ranked Mississippi State led the way to a historic weekend for the Bulldogs Baseball squad.
The sweep pushed MSU’s overall record to 30-10 on the season and marked the first-ever three-game sweep of the Gamecocks.
MSU hurlers combined to strikeout 44 hitters in three games, including a season-high 18 punchouts in Saturday’s 9-0 shutout victory.

On Friday, Hail State men’s hoops standout Josh Hubbard announced that he’ll be back for one final season with the Bulldogs.
Hubbard has been MSU’s leading scorer for the past three seasons, including a career-high 22.1 points per game last year. He is a three-time All-SEC selection and recently became the first three-time male winner of the Howell Trophy.
🔼 What A Run. For the first time since 2019, the sixth-ranked Mississippi State men’s tennis team marched their way to the SEC Championship to battle top-ranked Texas in the final.
The Bulldogs came up short with a 4-2 decision on Sunday afternoon. Despite the loss, Mississippi State finished an impressive tournament run with a 22-5 record.
🔼 Rewriting Records. Break out the record books, we’ve got some rewriting to do.
On Saturday, the MSU track & field squads wrapped up a busy weekend at the Tom Jones Memorial meet, hosted by Florida.
Saturday's competition held several record-book performances on both the track and in the field. Overall, the Dawgs earned a new program record, three freshman records, four entries or adjustments to the program's all-time list, and ten personal bests.
