🔼 Ready For The Big Stage. Track and field’s Rosealee Cooper will represent the Bulldogs at the NCAA Indoor Championships this weekend in the 60m hurdles semifinals tonight at 7 p.m. Cooper is competing in her fourth Championship appearance and third consecutive Indoor Championship in the 60m hurdles, following a sixth-place finish and season-best time of 8.11 at the SEC Indoor Championships. She will head to the NCAA Indoor Championships with the fifth-best time in the SEC and 14th-best in the country.

🔼 Rivalry Weekend. The top-25 ranked Mississippi State softball team will open conference play against in-state rival Ole Miss this weekend in Oxford. The three-game series will begin on Friday night before a pair of 3 p.m. starts on Saturday and Sunday. The Bulldogs head into the weekend at 17-3 and are coming off a 6-0 weekend at the Bulldog Invitational presented by C Spire that saw them claim five run-rule victories. State has now won 10 games via run-rule, which is tied for the fifth-most in a season in school history. Mississippi State and Ole Miss did not play during the 2023 season, but the Bulldogs swept the 2022 series and won the postseason meeting in 2021 at the SEC Tournament.

🔼 Final From Greenville. In the Bulldogs’ second-round matchup at the SEC Tournament, Mississippi State fell to Texas A&M, 72-56. State traded baskets with the Aggies throughout the fourth quarter with each team scoring 21 in the final frame, but could not piece together enough runs to mount the late comeback. Jessika Carter finished with 12 points on 6-12 from the field and eight rebounds, while Darrione Rogers added 12 points, five rebounds and three assists. Mississippi State will now await its postseason fate on Selection Sunday on March 17.

🔼 Right At Home. After almost two years in Starkville, Bulldog women’s tennis’ Dharani Niroshan has not only found a sense of family but also a feeling of home in the small town that is at the opposite end of the spectrum from her Canadian roots. Niroshan has continued her successful sophomore showing and is currently second on the team with 11 singles victories this season. She also makes up half of the Bulldogs' winningest doubles tandem alongside Alessia Tagliente. That duo tops State in wins and has come out on top in 10 of their last 13 matches together.

🗣️ "Honestly, I was a little nervous going from Toronto to a little town in Mississippi. But I really like it. It gives you the space to focus on the things that matter the most. It's a nice reset from the big city. One of my favorite things is how much the fans love us and how much support we get from [the fans].” - Dharani Niroshan

🔼 Welcoming the Aces. The Diamond Dawgs will host a three-game series against Evansville this weekend at The Dude. The Bulldogs enter the series at 9-4 overall and are riding into Friday’s matchup with a six-game win streak. In their most recent matchup, State pulled off the four-run comeback against Southern Miss thanks to a terrific bullpen showing and run support from Dakota Jordan and David Mershon. The Bulldogs have scored 10+ runs in five games this season and are 6-0 this season in games with 10 or more hits

🔼 Dear Ol’ State. Mississippi State director of baseball operations Roger Rodeheaver is one of the unsung heroes for the Diamond Dawgs. On the latest episode of Dear Ol' State, Rodeheaver chats with Joel Coleman and Logan Lowery about his duties, his path to MSU and much more.
