Rounding Third: Ella Wesolowski. Freshman catcher Ella Wesolowski joins the show to discuss how she's been able to fit in with the team and her grand slam against Arkansas!

All-Access: Howell Trophy. The Howell Trophy is an award given annually to the best men's college basketball player in the state of Mississippi by the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame, and this year’s winner was none other than Josh Hubbard.

🔼 The Dance Continues. After State women’s basketball’s big win over TCU, the Bulldogs will take on No. 1 seed Penn State in the quarterfinal round of the WBIT. It will be the second meeting all-time between Mississippi State and Penn State with the most recent matchup coming in 2002. Mississippi State has held each opponent below its season scoring average and is limiting opponents to 34.5 percent from the field.

🔼 King of the Court. After nabbing a pair of come-from-behind ranked wins last weekend, Bulldog men’s tennis’ Petar Jovanovic was named the SEC Player of the Week. Jovanovic secured three wins against Florida and South Carolina (one doubles, two singles) that anchored the 4-3 road victories for Mississippi State. Jovanovic leads the Bulldogs with 23 singles wins this season and sports a 5-2 singles mark during dual-match play.

🔼 Welcoming The Gators. Bulldog softball is preparing for a top-25 matchup this weekend as State hosts the No. 10-ranked Florida Gators for a three-game series at Nusz Park. The Maroon and White enter the matchup with a 24-7 overall record and an impressive 14-2 record when playing in Starkville. The Bulldogs are coming in fresh off a series win over Arkansas that saw the team put up 21 runs in three games.

🔼 New Kicks. Bulldog soccer announced the appointment of Drago Ćeranić as its newest assistant coach. With an impressive background in collegiate soccer and a commitment to excellence, Ćeranić joins Mississippi State after a successful stint at Mercer University, where he served as an assistant coach in 2023. During his time at Mercer, Ćeranić guided the Bears to a 9-4-7 record and a trip to the SoCon conference semi-finals.

🔼 Dear Ol’ State. Mississippi State women's basketball and softball both have big games ahead in the coming days. Women's hoops is set to battle Penn State in the quarterfinals of the WBIT, while softball hosts a Top-25 series against Florida. On Dear Ol' State, Joel Coleman and Logan Lowery focus in on those events and chat with women's basketball head coach Sam Purcell and softball head coach Samantha Ricketts.
