📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Dawg Eat Dawg World. The Diamond Dawgs will look to build some momentum off the heels of the Lonestar Battle against Texas A&M with a midweek matchup against Samford in Birmingham. State is 39-11 all-time against the Bulldogs and has won nine of the last 10 meetings. Four Dawgs enter the matchup with batting averages above .300 with Dakota Jordan leading the squad with his 11 home runs and 35 RBI.

🔼 Off and Running. Mississippi State men's track and field opened the outdoor season with a program record No. 3 ranking in the first edition of the USTFCCCA National Ratings Index for the 2024 outdoor season. This is State's 86th time breaking into the top 25 since the rankings began in 2008 and the ninth time under Head Coach Chris Woods. After competing in its first two meets of the 2024 outdoor season, State has one national leader, three national top-5 marks, and 10 national top-6 marks.

🔼 Sharing Is Caring. As one of the final eight teams left in the WBIT, Bulldog women’s basketball has one of the nation’s best leading the charge at point guard. Lauren Park-Lane is sixth in the country this season in total assists (211 and counting) for a third-straight year, and ninth in assists per game (6.2). Park-Lane and State women’s basketball will face off against Penn State/Belmont on Thursday for a shot at the final four in Indianapolis.

🔼 On The Rise. Through 25 games of the baseball season, five Diamond Dawgs have seen their stock rise within the list of top 300 prospects for the MLB Draft. Dakota Jordan tops the list of Bulldogs at No. 31 on Perfect Game’s 2024 MLB Draft Board, followed by Hunter Hines at No. 104 and Jurrangelo Cjntje at No. 171.
