🔼 Better Late Than Never. Mississippi State men’s basketball hosted a watch party on Sunday for the NCAA Selection Show. The only problem was that no one was celebrating at first — it was late in the show and MSU still hadn’t heard its name called.
The exhale came as the Bulldogs learned their fate, a First Round matchup against Michigan State on Thursday at 11:15 a.m. CT in Charlotte, N.C.
🔼 Singing The Blues. Mississippi State baseball is right back at the Dude today, hosting Memphis for a midweek contest at 6pm.
The Tigers are right at .500 with a 11-11 record, climbing back to that mark by taking two-of-three at New Orleans last weekend.
🔼 Fabulous Freshman. Mississippi State freshman Nolan Stevens entered Friday’s game against No. 2 LSU with the Bulldogs trailing 3-2, and gave his team 5 2/3 innings of one-hit ball, striking out eight along the way.
🔼 Chatting WBIT. Mississippi State women’s basketball head coach Sam Purcell met with the media on Monday to discuss the program’s selection into the WBIT.
