🎥 BEYOND THE ARC

Beyond The Arc: Even (S.1 E.9). In this episode, Round 2 of the biggest rivalry in the SEC comes to Starkville. After a close loss to Ole Miss in Oxford, watch the Bulldogs even up the season series through the eyes of Coach Jans.

Perseverance: The Segars Story. After an unexpected medical issue sidelined Anna Kate Segars in 2021, she faced a long road of diagnostic testing and recovery with her eyes set on an improbable return to the field. After 692 days away from the game she loves, Segars returned to play in 2023. Despite posting a .000 batting average, she found a victory in persevering through the journey and hopes her story can inspire others facing a difficult season in life.

🔼 Men Are In! For the second consecutive season, Mississippi State men’s basketball is going dancing!

The Bulldogs, the No. 8 seed in the NCAA West Region, will take on No. 9 seed Michigan State during Thursday’s NCAA Tournament Round of 64 in Charlotte, N.C.

🔼 Down Goes No. 2. Needing a win Sunday to secure a series win over No. 2 LSU, Mississippi State baseball left nothing to chance, scoring 15 runs in a 10-run win over the visiting Tigers.

The series win is the first for the Diamond Dawgs over LSU at Dudy Noble Field since 2003.

🔼 Sixth Spot. For the sixth time this season, No. 25 Mississippi State men’s golf finished in the top half of the field, this time at the 44th annual Schenkel Invitational with a 14-under team score.

Garrett Endicott led the way for the Bulldogs, finishing in a tie for seventh place individually.

🔼 Outside Job. Bulldog track and field got outside for the first time this spring over the weekend, and records are already being broken!

On the first day of competition at the Hurricane Invitational in Coral Gables, Fla., Roury McCloyen took down the freshman discus record with a throw of 53.72 meters, ranking fourth all-time at State. Day 2 was the Jhordyn Stallworth Show, as the senior broke her own school record in the shot put with a toss of 16.41 meters.

🔼 Split A Pair. No. 15 Mississippi State men’s tennis split a pair of ranked matchups this weekend, beating No. 64 Vanderbilt 5-2 on Friday before dropping a 5-2 match to No. 6 Kentucky on Sunday.

Mississippi State women’s tennis also played a pair of ranked teams this weekend, dropping matches to No. 64 Kentucky and No. 30 Vanderbilt.

🔼 Sunday Funday. After dropping a pair of games to No. 13 Texas A&M to start the weekend, No. 21 Mississippi State softball took Game 3 of the series, 6-5, on Sunday to take some momentum into this week.

The biggest hit of the game came from Madisyn Kennedy, whose three-run home run in the bottom of the first inning got the scoring started for the Bulldogs.
