🔼 Tiger Tamers. No. 24 Mississippi State men’s basketball picked up its 20th win of the season on Saturday, 81-69, over LSU at the Hump. LSU led by as many as eight points in the first half, but a dominant second half from the Bulldogs was the difference. Josh Hubbard scored a game-high 30 points for the Dawgs.

🔼 Second Half Surge. Despite trailing by seven points at halftime on the road to Auburn on Sunday, Mississippi State women’s basketball stormed back in the second half to earn a 73-66 win over the Tigers. Eniya Russell led the Bulldogs in scoring off the bench with 19 points, and added six rebounds.

🔼 Headed To Hilton Head. Mississippi State women’s golf is in Hilton Head, S.C. this week, teeing it up at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate at Long Cove Club. The course is unique to State's schedule, as it is the first par-71 course that the Bulldogs will play on this season, spanning 6,413 yards. This week’s tournament is also the only televised tournament of the spring for the Bulldogs, with play set to air on NBC’s Golf Channel.

The Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services (MDRS) is proud to partner once again with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) to launch the 2025 PROM Campaign—"Please Return On Monday." Now in its eighth year, this impactful program educates high school students about the importance of making safe driving decisions during prom season. Through powerful presentations, students learn about the dangers of impaired and distracted driving, the importance of seatbelt use, and the life-changing consequences of risky behavior behind the wheel.
Throughout the campaign, MHP Public Affairs Officers, MDRS representatives, and MDRS client speakers share real-life stories to emphasize how one decision can alter lives forever. Survivors recount their experiences with crashes caused by reckless driving, underscoring the reality that surviving doesn’t mean escaping consequences. Since its launch in 2018, PROM has grown exponentially, reaching over 13,100 students in 2024 alone. With momentum building, the 2025 campaign is already off to a strong start with 22 presentations scheduled. MDRS and MHP remain committed to ensuring Mississippi’s youth make safe choices and return on Monday. To schedule a presentation, contact [email protected] or call 1-800-443-1000.
