🔼 Dominant Dub. No. 16 Mississippi State men’s tennis picked up a dominant victory on the road yesterday, winning 6-1 at No. 48 Vanderbilt.
After winning the doubles point, the Bulldogs got singles wins from Benito Sanchez Martinez, Niccolo Baroni, Mario Martinez Serrano, Roberto Ferrer Guimaraes and Michal Novansky.
🔼 Conference Call. Mississippi State baseball is set for its SEC opener this weekend, hosting No. 11 Texas for a three-game series at The Dude starting today at 6 p.m. After losing their first game of the season in extra innings, the Longhorns have rattled off 14 straight wins heading into the weekend in Starkville.
🔼 Turn The Tide. Mississippi State softball plays its first SEC road series of the season this weekend, traveling to Alabama to play three games against the No. 25 Crimson Tide. Alabama is 20-7 this season, with this weekend serving as its SEC opener.
🔼 For All The Marbles. The indoor track and field season culminates in Virginia Beach this weekend, with Mississippi State set to compete at the NCAA Indoor Championships. The Bulldogs will have six student-athletes competing throughout the course of the weekend.
🔼 Triple Dip. Mississippi State women’s tennis has another trio of matches this weekend in Starkville — Florida (4-6) is in town today for a 3 p.m. match, with Auburn (13-4) and Mississippi Valley State to follow on Sunday at noon and 4 p.m., respectively.
