Dear Ol’ State: Success In Aggieland. Mississippi State women's basketball keeps building momentum. The Bulldogs earned their fourth straight win Sunday when they topped Texas A&M. On the latest episode, Joel Coleman and Logan Lowery discuss how the Dawgs keep getting stronger, plus the guys chat with men's head coach Chris Jans as his group looks to bounce back this coming Wednesday against Georgia.

🔼 Winners Win. Bulldog Nation weren’t the only ones who appreciated the upset win over the reigning national champions. ESPN named the Bulldog women’s upset over LSU as last week’s Win of the Week. The victory in front of a sold-out crowd of 9,121 in Humphrey Coliseum marked the first home sellout and the first top-10 win under head coach Sam Purcell.

🔼 Keeping It Moving. Following a historic 2023 season, the Bulldog head soccer coach, James Armstrong, signed a contract extension through the 2027 season to remain with State. The sixth head coach of the Bulldog soccer program has been instrumental in elevating the Mississippi State soccer program to unprecedented heights.

My family and I couldn't be more excited to be staying in Starkville for the next four years and the journey ahead. The Bulldogs set new records with the longest SEC win streak (4) and the longest SEC unbeaten streak in program history (6) during Armstrong’s tenure. Additionally, the team advanced to the SEC Tournament semifinals for the first time, securing back-to-back NCAA Tournament hosting opportunities as the highest seed in program history.

🔼 Dear Ol’ State. Mississippi State softball will make its return to the diamond later this week for the start of the 2024 season. Ahead of the opener, head coach Samantha Ricketts sits down with Joel Coleman and Logan Lowery to preview the road ahead for the Bulldogs.
