🔼 Hubbard Makes History. After his offensive explosion against LSU, Josh Hubbard was announced as the SEC Freshman of the Week for a fifth time — a State program record. Hubbard posted 18.5 points per game as the Bulldogs extended the SEC's longest active winning streak to five games. He shined over the weekend for a season-best 32 points against the Tigers, the most points a State player has scored under Coach Jans. His 32 points are the second-most points scored by an SEC freshman this season, and the most points scored by a State true freshman dating back to the 1984-85 season. Hubbard and the rest of Bulldog men’s basketball will host No. 16 Kentucky tonight for a chance at six wins in a row.

🔼 Media Day. Mississippi State men’s basketball heads into this week staring down some tough tests against a pair of AP Top 25-ranked opponents. Head coach Chris Jans held his weekly media session before Monday’s practice to talk about taking on No. 16 Kentucky and No. 11 Auburn, his decisions behind rotation and lineup changes and the team’s increased defensive efforts during its five-game win streak.

🔼 Hungry For More. Last season was full of incredible goals on the pitch, which led to MSU's first appearance in the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16. With months still to go until the 2024 season gets underway, the Soccer Dawgs are already hitting the grind in the early days of spring practice.

This year's impressive class of freshmen, transfers, and experienced vets have already begun prep for a new season. The new faces putting on the Maroon and White kits have brought a new dynamic into the clubhouse, which means the Bulldogs will have to create a path of their own to reach the heights from a season ago.
