The Dudes: The Road Starts Here (S.1 E.1). In the premiere episode of "The Dudes", the Mississippi State Baseball Team reveals their motivations for choosing the Bulldogs. From the electric fanbase to the iconic Dudy Noble stadium and the tight-knit team atmosphere, players share the real reasons behind their choice. Get ready for an inside look at their mission back to Omaha, driven by a shared belief in the team's exceptional potential.

🔼 Statement Sweep. State softball claimed its first ranked wins of the season on Tuesday night, sweeping No. 23 Louisiana in a doubleheader at Nusz Park. The Bulldogs won the first game in run-rule fashion, downing the Ragin' Cajuns, 9-1, in six innings. Then, Josey Marron had the edge in the nightcap, winning the pitchers' duel, 2-1. 

Nadia Barbary and Ella Wesolowski highlighted game one with a pair of three-hit games as the two helped drive in three runs. In the end, it was Brylie St. Clair who drove home the game-winning run on a hit to deep left center. In the pitchers’ duel, Marron held the Ragin’ Cajuns at bay while Jessie Blaine recorded both RBIs to clinch the doubleheader for the Bulldogs.

🔼 Top Ten Talent. A pair of Bulldog baseball players are heading into the 2024 season in the top 10 of D1Baseball’s preseason player rankings. Amani Larry came in at No. 10 of the Top 50 second basemen in the country while Hunter Hines ranked No. 8 in the nation of the Top 50 first basemen. The two will both start in their respective positions in Opening Weekend at The Dude where the Diamond Dawgs will face off against Air Force in a three-game series.

🔼 Battle in the Bahamas. Mississippi State women’s golf mirrored its score from round one on the second day at the Nexus Collegiate in the Bahamas as the team finished 10-over par. Avery Weed rocketed up the leaderboard to tie for fifth after a 2-under-par round that featured five birdies. Four Bulldogs finished with an identical 4-over par 76 as both Chiara Horder and Isabell Pellot carded eagles. The Bulldogs currently sit in seventh place entering the final round of the tournament, but sit only 10 shots out of the top three teams.
