Mississippi State is coming off a tough couple of games, but the fight continues with the Dawgs still solidly in the March Madness mix. On Dear Ol' State, MSU head coach Sam Purcell discusses the state of his team and his love for his seniors as the regular season winds down.

🔼 Run-Rule Win! No. 4 Mississippi State baseball earned a seven-inning victory on Tuesday, beating Austin Peay at the Dude, 16-3! The Diamond Dawgs (9-0) pounded out 16 hits and scored in five of their six at-bats, turning a tight game early into another lopsided run-rule victory in front of 9,337 fans.

🔼 Turn The Tide. Mississippi State men’s basketball plays its penultimate road game of the regular season today, traveling to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for an 8 p.m. tipoff at No. 17 Alabama. The Tide is 20-7 overall this season and 10-4 in SEC play, and carry a six-game win streak into tonight’s game.

🔼 In The ATL. No. 12 Mississippi State softball travels to Atlanta today for a midweek showdown against Georgia Tech at 5 p.m. The Bulldogs are 13-4 all-time against the Yellow Jackets, including an 11-3 win last season in Starkville.

🔼 Swingin’ It. Mississippi State women’s golf climbed one spot on the leaderboard on the final day of play at the Chevron Collegiate on Tuesday, finishing in 10th place at 10-over par. Samantha Whateley finished in sixth place individually at 2-under par.

🔼 Midweek Matchup. No. 5 Mississippi State men’s tennis steps outside of SEC play today, hosting South Alabama at 2 p.m. in Starkville. The Jaguars are 2-4 in dual action so far this spring.
