The MSU head men's basketball coach updates the status of his team coming out of the huge top-10 win over Texas A&M and headed into Saturday's road tilt at Oklahoma.

🔼 Bear Crossing. Mississippi State baseball is at the Dude again this weekend, hosting Missouri State for a three-game series starting today at 2 p.m. The Bears took two-of-three games at Sam Houston on opening weekend.

🔼 Two More. Mississippi State women’s basketball plays its penultimate home game of the regular season this Sunday, welcoming Texas A&M to the Hump at 2 p.m. The Aggies are 3-9 to this point in SEC play.

🔼 Sooner Or Later. No. 21 Mississippi State men’s hoops takes its show on the road this weekend, tipping off at Oklahoma tomorrow at noon on the SEC Network. The Sooners are 3-10 in their inaugural season as members of the SEC.

🔼 Keep The Streak. No. 17 Mississippi State softball travels to Huntsville, Ala. this weekend for the Rocket City Softball Showcase presented by PNC Bank. The Bulldogs have matchups against Jacksonville State, Louisiana Tech, North Alabama and Miami (OH) throughout the weekend.

🔼 Conference Clash. No. 13 Mississippi State men’s tennis begins SEC play this weekend, traveling to Knoxville, Tenn. to take on the No. 16 Volunteers tomorrow at 4 p.m.

🔼 SEC Season. No. 61 Mississippi State women’s tennis plays a pair of matches this weekend, first hosting South Alabama today at 3 p.m. before hitting the road for its SEC opener at Alabama this Sunday at 11 a.m.

The Bulldogs have entered the ITA Team Rankings this week for the first time under head coach Chris Hooshyar.

The Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services (MDRS) is proud to partner once again with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) to launch the 2025 PROM Campaign—"Please Return On Monday." Now in its eighth year, this impactful program educates high school students about the importance of making safe driving decisions during prom season. Through powerful presentations, students learn about the dangers of impaired and distracted driving, the importance of seatbelt use, and the life-changing consequences of risky behavior behind the wheel.

Throughout the campaign, MHP Public Affairs Officers, MDRS representatives, and MDRS client speakers share real-life stories to emphasize how one decision can alter lives forever. Survivors recount their experiences with crashes caused by reckless driving, underscoring the reality that surviving doesn’t mean escaping consequences. Since its launch in 2018, PROM has grown exponentially, reaching over 13,100 students in 2024 alone. With momentum building, the 2025 campaign is already off to a strong start with 22 presentations scheduled.
