Dear Ol’ State: Bulldogs Bust Out The Brooms. There were sweeps all over the Mississippi State sports landscape over the weekend as men's basketball topped Ole Miss to take both games of the regular season series, baseball started the year with three wins over Manhattan and softball marched straight through The Snowman. 🔼 Hump Day. No. 21 Mississippi State men’s hoops hosts another top-10 team at the Hump today, with No. 7 Texas A&M in town for a 6 p.m. tip on the SEC Network. The Aggies are 20-5 overall this season and 9-3 in SEC play, and are winners of five straight.

🔼 Down The Road. With three wins under its belt already after opening weekend, No. 18 Mississippi State baseball hits the road for the first time today, traveling to Hattiesburg for a 6 p.m. game at Southern Miss.

🔼 Midweek Matchup. No. 19 Mississippi State softball will look to run its win streak to nine games today, as it hosts Samford at 4 p.m. at Nusz Park. Samford carries its own win streak into today’s game, having won five in a row, and is 6-2 overall this season.
