🔼 Marathon Win. Mississippi State women’s basketball earned a hard-fought double-overtime win on the road at Vanderbilt on Thursday night, 85-77. Madina Okot and Jerkaila Jordan both scored 21 points for the Bulldogs, and Quanirah Montague (15) and Chandler Prater (14) joined them in double figures.

🔼 Dawg Dub. No. 19 Mississippi State softball ran its home opener win streak to 12 games on Thursday, beating Southern Illinois, 10-3. Kylee Edwards led the way with three RBI, followed by Jessie Blaine with a pair. Lexi Sosa earned the win for the Bulldogs.

🔼 Play Ball! No. 18 Mississippi State baseball opens its 2025 season at the Dude today with a doubleheader against Manhattan. Game 1 will start at noon, with Game 2 set for 40 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1. The Bulldogs and Jaspers will finish the three-game series on Sunday at 1 p.m.

🔼 Rivalry Tipoff. No. 22 Mississippi State men’s basketball heads to Oxford tomorrow for a 5 p.m. matchup with No. 19 Ole Miss on ESPN2. The Bulldogs got the best of the Rebels back on Jan. 18 in Starkville, winning 84-81 in overtime.

🔼 Split Squad. Mississippi State track and field will be split between a pair of events this weekend — the Tiger Paw Invitational in Clemson, S.C. and the Music City Challenge in Nashville, Tenn.
