🔼 Fast. Aggressive. Showtime. Less than a month since stepping on campus at Mississippi State, head coach Jeff Lebby and his new staff welcomed 30 new Bulldogs on the first day of the early signing period for the 2024 class.

🗣️ "It's still about people and putting the right people inside the locker room. There's nothing more important to me and us to get that part of it right. You've flat got to be good enough first and foremost, but we've got to have the right people in the building.” - Jeff Lebby

Lebby's early additions addressed needs on both sides of the ball with State inking 17 offensive prospects and bringing in 13 players on defense. The Bulldogs added 15 recruits from the high school ranks, 10 from the transfer portal and five from the Mississippi junior college ranks.

🔼 Gotham Classic Preview. Bulldog men’s basketball is headed off to New Jersey to play in the Gotham Classic against Rutgers on Saturday at 11 a.m. for the first time since 1999. State enters their sixth neutral site matchup with a 9-2 record while the Scarlet Knights are 7-3 on the season.

The Bulldogs will look to extend their three-game win streak as they come into the matchup ranked 13th nationally in blocks (34.45), 14th in three-point defense (27.0), 24th in field goal percentage defense (38.5%) and 25th in scoring defense (63.0).

🔼 Welcome Home. Another top 100 prospect is headed to Starkville. The Class of 2024’s Morgan Stiles signed on with Mississippi State as Extra Innings Softball’s No. 15 prospect and top 10 middle infielder.

Stiles won a state title at Athens High School in 2022 and her team finished as runners-up in 2023. During her high school career, Stiles was a three-time First Team All-State and Tennessee Valley Select 20 honoree.
